MycoTree
Exhibition at the Seoul Biennale 2017.








MycoTree is a spatial branching structure made of load-bearing mycelium — mushroom root networks grown on agricultural waste — designed as a compression-only structure so that this weak, cultivated material can carry itself. It was exhibited at the Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism 2017.
